With NFL Draft Week Beginning, Don’t Be Surprised…Of The Unexpected

 

When Sunday officially came, we knew it was time. Draft week is upon us.

For the past four months we have seen mock drafts, player analysis, and more from every possible angle. Trust me, if you search deep enough, you will find it.

The best part about the NFL Draft is how it is so unpredictable. Nobody will have a mock draft that is perfectly correct, and rightfully so.

There will be trading in the first round, including reaches at certain picks.

Some will agree with the selections, other will disagree, but this draft has been one of the hyped classes in recent memory.

With the depth of this years class, there is a reason the draft is getting so much buzz.

So many predictions are already being made, but are being set in stone. Some I agree with, other I disagree with. Today is your lucky day, because I have come up with a list of the unexpected... what not many people have in their mock drafts, or actually believe it will happen.

After reading more on this topic, it becomes really interesting. I am one of the many that believe the Lions should take Ndamukong Suh, especially with the struggles on the defensive side of the ball.

We can't throw out the possibility of beginning the process of protecting Matthew Stafford. I have been telling myself Rob Sims (traded from Seattle), is the answer. But I continue to get the feeling Sims is not as good as people make him out to be.

The Lions have one of the worst lines in football, so in the end it may be in the best of interest to protect your new investment in Stafford.
