The move came just days after the Raiders hired former Packers front-office man Reggie McKenzie to be their new general manager. It didn't take long for McKenzie to make the decision to axe Jackson, who went 8-8 in his first season, from the head coaching position.
With Jackson on the way out, who might McKenzie bring in to replace him?
We'll start with Packers inside linebackers coach and assistant head coach Winston Moss. He has long been rumored as a coaching candidate in Oakland, and the move to fire Jackson opens the door for McKenzie to being Moss with him to Oakland from Green Bay.
While Moss has never been even a coordinator in the NFL, he's been one of Mike McCarthy's most trusted coaches since being promoted to assistant head coach in 2007. Moss arrived in Green Bay in 2006.
Shortly after reporting Jackson's demise, Schefter brought up both Moss and Packers secondary coach Darren Perry as replacements.

Perry was brought to Green Bay in 2009 as the Packers were making the transition to a 3-4 defense under Dom Capers. Perry has coached the Packers secondary ever since. In the three years Perry has coached the Packers secondary, his unit leads the NFL in interceptions.
Perry also played in the NFL at safety for nine years with the Pittsburgh Steelers, including a start in Super Bowl XXX.
While I wouldn't limit McKenzie's search to just people currently in the Packers organization, there's an overwhelming sense that McKenzie will want to bring in his own guys to rebuild the Raiders franchise. Getting a head coach from the Packers only makes sense in that process.
