Pryor started off hot, completing all of his first eight attempts while throwing a career-high two touchdowns in that span as ESPN points out:
After not throwing an incompletion until his 11th attempt, Pryor finished the day with 221 yards and two touchdowns on 18-of-23 passing. He also added 31 yards on the ground in his typical dual-threat fashion.
Coming into his breakout game against San Diego, Pryor had recorded just two total touchdowns in three games, so his ability to put it all together for one performance means great things for his fantasy outlook.
Pryor was an iffy fantasy play no matter the matchup all year, but that is over with his performance against San Diego.
It's important to note that the Chargers ranked No. 29 against the pass entering the contest courtesy of a unit that allowed over 312 yards through the air per game, but that should not entirely undermine Pryor's performance.
Now Pryor is a legitimate No. 1 fantasy quarterback given the right matchup. In those matchups, he's good for at least 200 total yards and a few scores, and he is liable to do so in unfavorable situations.
For owners who don't trust Pryor, now would be the time to unload as his stock will likely not climb higher. Find an owner with shaky depth at the position and unload for a nice get.
Owners who trust Pryor should hang on tight and enjoy the ride.
