Jennings scored 15 fantasy points on Thursday, rushing for 35 yards and two touchdowns and catching one pass for eight yards. His second touchdown came late in the second quarter, putting Oakland up 21-7, as noted by NFL on ESPN:
It was the third game in a row in which he'd scored double-digit fantasy points and his fourth in five games. Jerry McDonald of the Oakland Tribune provided the numbers for Jennings' four-game run leading up to his big game in Dallas:
As alluded to by McDonald, Jennings has clearly been an improvement over Darren McFadden this year. It's just as clear at this point that Oakland has moved on from McFadden, who only had three carries in the first half, even though he is finally healthy again.
Unfortunately, Jennings wasn't able to finish the game. He was kneed hard in the head in the second half and appeared to suffer a concussion, as noted by Dave Siebert of Bleacher Report:
Even if he's able to return to action next weekend, things get really difficult for Jennings and the Raiders in the final weeks of the season, which could have a negative impact on his fantasy stock.
Oakland's next three games are all against teams that rank in the top half of fantasy defenses against running backs: the New York Jets (No. 2), Kansas City Chiefs (No. 14) and San Diego Chargers (No. 14).
That said, until he stops producing, Jennings remains a must-start running back on your fantasy team.
