Oakland Raiders’ Seven Years of Famine Ended in 2010: Season of Plenty Begins

Are you tired of these patterns or nuggets? Well, get ready to read another observation about the Oakland Raiders.

As a researcher looking at the NFL data, several more observations became evident.

Here is a simple chart:

2002   Plenty

2003   Famine

2004   Famine

2005   Famine

2006   Famine

2007   Famine

2008   Famine

2009   Famine

2010   Plenty (before bye week)

If you count the number of years of famine, you get seven years of famine.

The phrase "seven years of famine" has historical significance.

Now, the trolls are probably foaming at the mouth that someone is able to discern the deeper meaning of some of the experiences of the Oakland Raiders, and owner Al Davis.

You can't deny it, however. The patterns are there. Check it out for yourself.

All this researcher has to say is that whatever thrust the team into a state of famine, please, just do not do it again. Stay the course, as Tom Cable said in a recent interview.

Now that the Oakland Raiders have another chance to re-claim "greatness" in the NFL, just become masterful of the program and "stay the course."

Whether you, the reader, understand the recent developments is not the issue. Enjoy the new found victories of the Oakland Raiders and be grateful that the team and the Raider Nation have another chance.

Go Raiders, go! Where? To the end zone, where else?

Notes for those who are interested:

Genesis 41:30 but seven years of famine will follow them. Then all ... But afterward there will be seven years of famine so great that all the prosperity will be forgotten in Egypt. Famine will destroy the land. ...
