The Oakland Raiders and the San Francisco 49ers have a few things in common. San Francisco had a 2-14 record in 2004, followed by a 4-12 record in 2005.
Although the years are different, Oakland had the same pattern of wins and losses from 2006 to 2007. The Raiders had a 2-14 record in 2006 and a 4-12 record in 2007.
These neighbors probably grimace at the facts about those years. Small gains were made by both teams in those targeted past years, but now let's look at more recent years.
