Oakland Raiders Need a Little Love and a Powerful Pep Talk To Prep For Miami

After looking at a video on www.raiders.com, a bright idea came to mind.

There is so much criticism in the atmosphere, after last week's heartbreaker, that I thought it would be a good idea to show a little love to the Oakland Raiders.

Someone presented their teacher with flowers. It was a surprise to the teacher because the grades for the students have not been too good on the past few quizzes. The topics are getting tougher and the weak students are falling by the wayside.

Well, the competition is getting tougher for the Oakland Raiders. Falling by the wayside is not an option. Hanging in there, executing those plays and winning is what we expect to happen.

Tough love is good, but try "a little tenderness" just might be the right medicine for a tense situation.

Here is our tenderness: We really appreciate the joy of those three consecutive wins, Oakland Raiders. Those wins woke up a deep love for you, and those of us who were sitting close to the end zone got a kick out of hugging you when you got those touchdowns.

As Ray Charles would say, "Here we go again."

In this context, we are believing that you can defeat the Miami Dolphins. Don't break our hearts again. We are believing in you, one more time.

As Marvin Gaye would say, "Let's get it on."

Again, what we are saying is that the Oakland Raiders get in the groove and give us those consecutive wins.

One more quote is from a song that probably inspired some of the great Oakland Raiders in the past:

"I heard it through the grapevine" that some believe that the Miami Dolphins perform powerfully when on the road.

Well, this time we want to change the rumor and tell you that the Oakland Raiders will and must perform more powerfully at home.
