Well, that was last week. Now it's time to start over again and to focus on a "win" against the Miami Dolphins. Let's just say that some of us never, ever give up on the Oakland Raiders.
Looking at the pattern of the win-loss record for the last eleven weeks of 2009, here is the chart:

The Miami Dolphins had a win-loss record of 7-9 in 2009. Although their record looks better in 2009, they lost the last three games of the 2009 season. On the other hand, the Oakland Raiders won the game in Week 15, but lost the last two games of the 2009 season.
The performance of the Oakland Raiders in the game against the Pittsburgh Steelers can be seen as an "outlier." The trend of the performance of the team before that game was upward.
Consistency has been an issue for the Oakland Raiders and it remains so.
Let's just say that if the Oakland Raiders play heartily and put up a hefty offense and defense, then things just might be redeemable in 2010.
Can the Oakland Raiders put up a fight and get three consecutive wins, again, after bye week in 2010?

Buckle your seat belts, Raider Nation, because this Sunday, there may be a head-on collision between the Miami Dolphins and the Oakland Raiders.
After a week of taunts and criticism, the Raiders ought to be ready and steady enough to get back on track.
