Oakland Raiders Free Agency 2015: Tracking Signings and Rumored Contracts

The Oakland Raiders have a tough AFC West division and numerous roster deficiencies to overcome amid the 2015 offseason. Armed with ample salary-cap room, Oakland figures to be a big player in free agency.

Raiders Sign Dan Williams Wednesday, March 11 ESPN's Michael C. Wright reported that the Raiders were signing Williams. Kent Somers of AZCentral Sports reported that the deal is worth around $6 million per year with a total of $15 million guaranteed. 

Raiders Sign Curtis Lofton Wednesday, March 11  Wright reported that the Raiders were signing Lofton. ESPN's Josina Anderson reported that the deal was for three years. 

Raiders Sign Roy Helu Tuesday, March 10 ESPN's Adam Caplan reported the Raiders have signed Helu. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that it's a two-year, $4 million deal.

Malcolm Smith, Raiders Reportedly Agree to Deal Tuesday, March 10 ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Raiders and former Super Bowl MVP Smith have agreed to a contract. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.

Raiders Reportedly Land Hudson Monday, March 9 "Rodney Hudson is going to Oakland. $44.5M on a 5 year deal. Someone taking the Raiders' money," reported CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora. 

An upgrade on the offensive line is vital to the Raiders' improvement. Hudson would provide that in spades. He's used to paving the way for Jamaal Charles and could do the same in Oakland for whoever is carrying the rock in 2015.

Quarterback Derek Carr needs better pass protection as well. Weakening a division rival is another edge the Raiders would gain by landing Hudson. If Oakland gets both Mike Iupati and Hudson, it'd be quite a haul to help the entire offense.
