Oakland Raiders: Four More Trades To Consider

Last week, I wrote an article about four trades that the Oakland Raiders should consider. Because the article was very popular, I decided to make a sequel with four more trades the Raiders should consider.

Albert Haynesworth: I know this isn't original, but it is a very heated subject that seems to have Raider Nation split.  One idea is that the Raiders and Redskins could swap Haynesworth for Richard Seymour.  Now that Seymour has signed his tender, I think that trade is dead.  To me, Seymour didn't want to be at OTA's because to a guy like him, those are nothing.  Now he has signed to silence the speculation and I expect him at training camp on July 28th.

Disgruntled Chargers:   Last week I mentioned the disgruntled Colts Robert Mathis and Reggie Wayne could be targets.  This week, I'm looking at WR Vincent Jackson and OT Marcus McNeil.  It is possible that these two will not be at training camp, or maybe not even show up until week 10.  Chargers GM A. J. Smith has said "it is sad to lose two good players that could have helped win a championship."  It sounds like Smith is already ruling out Jackson and McNeil.  This trade will be tough to make because A. J. Smith is not an idiot, well not a big one at least.  He knows he can't let Jackson and McNeil stay in the AFC West.

Jared Gaither:   The left tackle of the Baltimore Ravens had many fans hoping for a trade on draft weekend.  Instead, the Raiders drafted Jared Veldheer to add depth to the tackle position.  Last week, I said New Orleans left tackle Jamaal Brown could be a target, but he has been traded to the Redskins.  Tom Cable seems to like Mario Henderson and Khalif Barnes, so I don't expect to see a trade for Gaither happen any time soon.

Logan Mankins:   While on the topic of the O-line, why not mention Mankins, guard of the Patriots.  He has asked for a trade. ...
