Oakland Raiders’ Defeat of Seattle Seahawks Has to Happen

When you remember that the Oakland Raiders have not won one preseason game, you realize that there must be a win, soon. Why not tonight?.

Also, since Tom Cable was fired by the Oakland Raiders and he now is an assistant coach with the Seattle Seahawks it means that Cable can stand proud, for a moment, if his team defeats the Oakland Raiders.

On another note, Hue Jackson replaced Cable and that suggests that Jackson will be a better head coach than Cable. However, if Jackson's team does not defeat the Seahawks some folks may consider that something is amiss.

The game may be like a battle of the Titans with Jackson in symbolic combat with his former boss. Jackson must muster up the strategies to defeat this former boss so that some folks will be convinced that Al Davis made the right decision for the right reason. I admit, it's complicated.

If coaches have egos, and they do, then someone's ego will be damaged during and after the Raiders-Seahawks game.

It ought to be a good game. Both teams need to show improvements.

You may not agree with this writer but if the Seahawks defeat the Raiders, then it will be a good indicator that the season is going to have many challenges.

We need to remain positive, but a reality check is what the Sept 2 game will mean to the Raider Nation.

Just a thought.  What do you think?
