Oakland Raiders: Adam Schefter and the Definition of Insanity

Adam Schefter is reporting that the Raiders are having a fire sale and are willing to trade anyone, including Nnamdi Asomugha.

This comes just days before the October 19th trade deadline.

Funny thing though is Schefter reports the same thing every year before the trade deadline and then again every offseason.

As it would turn out though it would seem that every time thus far Schefter has been full of crap.

The Raiders have even gone as far as to call Schefter out in the past calling him a "false rumor mongerer."

Could this be the year that the blind squirrel that is Adam Schefter finally finds a nut, or is he once again full of crap?

Albert Einstein's definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

So according to Einstein's definition Schefter is insane.

But according to Schefter's logic, if he keeps reporting the same thing over and over, he's bound to get it right eventually.

Could this be the year Schefter finally gets it right? Or is he once again, full of crap?

In the case that this report actually has some truth to it, who could the Raiders be trading and what could the Raiders be trading for?

Future draft picks maybe? Or maybe a receiver? Or what about help on the O-line?

We will have to wait and find out; the Week 6 trade deadline is in three days.

My prediction: Once again Adam Schefter is full of crap.
