We learn from each other. I learned from outstanding writers like Leroy Watson, Raider Card Addict, David Wilson, Brent, Bret, and others. That's what it's all about. Learning is what makes the difference.
As I learn, I impart my knowledge and inspiration to others. One example is that a young artist, with a B/R name VeeCee, has started a piece of artwork that just may be a masterpiece.
The articles we post on B/R are intended for the Oakland Raiders and the Raider Nation. We are learning together to draw a masterpiece on the canvas of NFL history.
We study each other. We talk, we laugh, we cry, together. We seek to understand the experiences of the Oakland Raiders using words, pictures, numbers, and symbols. We seek to awaken the spirit of victory, determination, and courage.
Are we getting there? Where?
Yes, we are moving up. We are growing. We can do it!
One example is that I started writing for B/R in April 2009, although I signed up in Aug. 2008.
I studied the site. Then, I jumped in deep water and started my swim to higher levels of understanding the Oakland Raiders and the NFL.
As of today, the B/R Article Likes page has Damali Binta YAEL ranked No. 2 out of more than 9,700 writers. That demonstrates the value of hard work and staying on task.
And if you look at the Oakland Raiders B/R page today, you see that Damali Binta YAEL's rank is No. 2 among some very powerful male sports writers.
It is encouraging to also see that YAEL ranks as the top writer on the NFL history page.
Now, ladies in the Raider Nation, be awakened and join me in this challenge to have a voice on B/R and in the Raider Nation. Ladies, you can do it too.
As the presence of the Raider Ladies increases...
