Since there has been no direct contact with the new Oakland Raiders and since about 53.3 percent of the coaching staff is new to the Oakland Raiders coaching staff, there will be many challenges. These challenges are surmountable, however.
Eight of the 15 coaches are in their first year as a part of the Raiders coaching staff. Four of them or 50 percent of the new guys actually have rejoined the team, which means they have some experience with the way the Oakland Raiders do things.
It seems that in order to overcome whatever is lost by the NFL lockout, intense contact and training of the players on the roster can be regained. Intense focus and stamina can certainly help to groom the team into an effective, powerful 2011 force in the NFL.
Can you imagine the state of mind of a coach who is ready to impart his wisdom and knowledge to players and the players are restricted from communication and contact with the coaches? It must be a little stressful for some of the new coaches in the list below:

Steve Wisniewiski
Bob Wylie
Hue Jackson will lead the team of 14 coaches, and he, too, does not have all of the components of the equation to build a cohesive and strong coaching team since, in fact, the coaches can only talk about the playbook. They do not have, to date, the players to simulate and demonstrate the plays and strategies that they conceptualize.
Our hope is that whatever it takes to make up for the gap in contact and training of the players can be quickly recovered and accelerated so as to not hinder the outstanding growth demonstrated in 2010 and anticipated in 2011.
