Oakland Raiders: 10 Reasons They’ll Win The AFC West In 2011

The Oakland Raiders have been doing all the right things this off-season.

Actually, I'd say they've had the best off-season of all 32 NFL teams. While that's not saying a lot considering Free Agency and the NFL Draft haven't set in yet, it's still a bit comforting when you know your team has been making strides.

The Raiders are a team on the rise, not just in the AFC West, but also in the National Football League.

In 2010, Oakland and its second-ranked run game went 6-0 in the AFC West and had their first .500 season in seven years, going 8-8.

Had some injuries not taken place here and there, and some costly but fixable mistakes were eliminated, the Raiders easily could have finished the 2010 season with a 12-4 record.

However, the past is the past.

In 2011, Oakland looks to take over the AFC West and make a run in the NFL Playoffs.

They sure are poised to do so. Here's why.
