NFL Off-Season Two-A-Days: The Oakland Raiders

This idea originated from ESPN's Mike & Mike. Here is my off-season preview for the Oakland Raiders:

5. Will new head coach Hue Jackson look to Jason Campbell or get a new QB?

I've always supported Jason Campbell, but I'm starting to worry. He never gets the full support of his head coach, even after coming to Oakland before last season. Maybe Hue Jackson will like him.

This question is pretty much a toss up. I could see things going either way. I'm going to say he'll get a chance to compete for the starting job against Bruce Gradkowski.

However, If Gradkowski leaves via free agency, Campbell may not have to compete for the job.

4. Is RB Darren McFadden on the verge of getting a rushing title?

No, that's a bit extreme. I do, however, feel like McFadden has really improved since coming out of Arkansas.

He had over 1,000 yards and that was without much of a passing game. If the Raiders find a bit more balance on offense, they could be a dangerous team.

3. Were the Raiders really the best team in the AFC West?

Did they win the division?

No. Oakland swept the division, but only won two other games.

This is a dumb question, although they do have shot as long as Norv Turner is the Chargers' coach.

2. What is the Raiders' number one priority in the NFL Draft and/or free agency?

Well, they don't have a first round pick, so they may be forced to make a splash in free agency.

As pointed out by angry members of the "Raider Nation," the Raiders need some offensive line help. A tackle in the first round is a posibility. Do the Raiders have a nation, I have no clue, I just thought it sounded good. If you want to bash me for that, go ahead.

They still need more depth along the defensive line. A bigger rotation could result in more rested players, which is always a positive.
