Jason Campbell Traded To Oakland

The Raiders have been involved in many rumors this off-season. Many believed that they were the front runner for Philadelphia's Donovan McNabb.

The deal did not follow through and McNabb was traded to Washington to be the starter.

Jason Campbell, who was previously starting in Washington, was pushed aside as if Bruce Allen had just bought a new action figure.

Shortly after, rumors of Jason Campbell being traded started to come up. One of the teams mentioned were the Oakland Raiders.

Those rumors were just rumors as the Raiders did not make a move for Campbell, yet.

On day three of the 2010 NFL Draft, the Raiders and Redskins agreed on a deal that would send Jason Campbell to Oakland.

Campbell is in the middle of JaMarcus Russell and Bruce Gradkowski. He has the physical attributes that Russell has, minus that rocket arm, and the fire that Gradkowski has.

Some other updates of the day three draft for the Raiders include trading middle linebacker Kirk Morrison to the Jaguars, drafting Bruce Campbell and Jacoby Ford.

By trading for Campbell and making great draft picks, I believe Al is starting to listen to the other people in the Raiders organization. I believe he's starting to realize what it needs for the Oakland Raiders to dominate the league once again. Good luck in 2010-2011 Raider Nation!
