Five Question To Be Answered in Training Camp for the Oakland Raiders

Next Wednesday, the Raiders will open their training camp. There are still some questions that are not completely answered, but will be next week. In order from least to most important, here are the top five.

Will Terrell Owens Be a Raider?  

This topic has been brought up again by reporters and will likely remain a topic until either T.O. signs or the season starts. Tom Cable said that the Raiders "have not even talked about it" when asked about T.O.

If Schilens is hurt again, the Raiders may be more inclined to sign the 36-year-old rather than start DHB and Louis Murphy again.

Will Tom Cable Keep His Technique From Last Year?

Remember the first five practices last year: Tom Cable had no contact drills and plays ended after about two to three seconds.

That may have been because his QB couldn't operate the offense and wasn't prepared to lead the team. Let's see if Cable keeps the dogs on s leash for the first few days or allows them to run wild with a true QB.

Are There Any New Defensive Packages?

Jon Marshall's defense has acquired several new players: Rolando McClain, Kamerion Wimbley, Quentin Groves, John Henderson, Lamarr Houston, and more. 

Wimbley, Groves, and McClain are from 3-4 defenses as well as Richard Seymour. The Raiders may have something up their sleeve for opposing offenses this year. This question wasn't answered much during OTAs and won't be until training camp opens.

How Will the Offensive Line be Arranged?  

After drafting Bruce Campbell, he was moved to guard and could be a threat to Cooper Carlisle.

Jared Veldheer was also drafted and he could challenge for either center or tackle. The only job I consider secure is Robert Gallery at guard.
