Could This Be the Year the Oakland Raiders Make the Playoffs?

In my opinion, I think the Raiders had one of the best offseasons they have had in years.

Probably all Raiders fans can agree with that.

The JaMarcus Russell saga is behind us and a new future is held in Jason Campbell's hands.

Whether you like it or not, Campbell will be the future of the Oakland Raiders franchise. I think Campbell will have a successful year.

The receiving targets are projected to be Zach Miller, Louis Murphy, and Darrius Heyward-Bey. Chaz Schilens can also make an impact, but that's only if he can stay healthy, and to me, I don't trust him to be.

Along with that, I heard there is a possibility of landing Terrell Owens. I would maybe like it, but I don't see a chance of him coming. However, if he does, it marks another receiving target.

I expect the rushing game to shine. I think the Raiders will most likely start Michael Bush, a guy I have been wanting the Raiders to start since he was first drafted. That's how much I loved the guy.

He was so good at Louisville.

I think Oakland can establish a one-two punch with Bush and Darren McFadden.

I think the running game can actually make a lot of impact.

I can see Oakland doing what the New York Giants did in the 2008-09 NFL season when Derrick Ward and Brandon Jacobs both ran for 1,000 yards.

Okay, maybe not that good.

Maybe at least kind of like what the Carolina Panthers are doing right now with Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams.

I actually like this idea. I read that somewhere here on Bleacher Report in the comments thread.

He was a Raiders fan and he said he sees Michael Bush rushing for over 1,150 yards and Darren McFadden having about 800 yards.

With that, the Raiders will have a very strong offense.

Also, the Raiders have a young and gunning stud at linebacker. It was the first-round draft pick in Rola...
