Carlos Rogers Injury: Updates on Raiders Star’s Knee and Recovery

The Oakland Raiders will be weaker in the secondary the rest of this season. Cornerback Carlos Rogers will reportedly miss the final five games with a knee injury. 

According to Fallon Smith of Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, Rogers will be placed on season-ending injured reserve:



The Raiders confirmed the move later Saturday via Twitter:

This could also mean the end for Rogers in a Raiders uniform. He signed a one-year contract with Oakland in the offseason after spending the previous three years across the bay in San Francisco. The 33-year-old hasn't played since October 26 against Cleveland, recording 35 tackles and one forced fumble in seven games.
