#1) Terrance Ganaway (RB) [Round 5]
In an earlier article, I had the Raiders potentially drafting Vick Ballard out of Mississippi State.
While that is possible, I'm starting to think the Raiders will wait until later in the draft to take a RB, as there are needs at LB and on the DL. While backup RB will be a major priority with injury-prone McFadden and the departure of Michael Bush, the Raiders can still get good value later in the draft.
Look no further than Baylor RB Terrance Ganaway. Ganaway, a heavy, pile-pushing runner at 6' and 239 lbs, was a stud at Baylor in the regular season and in the Alamo Bowl. While I said earlier that Mike Goodson would be serviceable filling in for Michael Bush, Ganaway would be a big (and more reliable) upgrade.
Easily reaching 200yds in several games last season and garnering an all-Big 12 selection, I would be excited to see how he would perform in the Silver and Black, whether it be filling in for an injured McFadden (which I hope DOESN'T happen) or even as the big, pile-moving 3rd or 4th and short runner.
#2) DaJohn Harris (DT) [Round 4-5)
While the Raiders have one of the best D-lines in the league, they did lose some depth this year with the departure of John Henderson, Trevor Scott, and the still unsigned free agent Jarvis Moss. While this won't be a stunning set of losses, the Raiders need to find someone to replace Henderson, who held up well during 3rd and 4th down run stuffing efforts.
