2011 NFL Draft: 10 Can’t-Miss Prospects the Oakland Raiders Should Target

As the countdown to draft day continues, many in Raider Nation are wondering who their team is targeting.

While only a few players have been named that have scheduled workouts with the Raiders, that should not be a cause for concern.

Each year, Oakland is very secretive when it comes to who they're looking at, and for good reason. It's a nice strategy, but very frustrating for fans as they have no idea what direction the team is looking to go.

However, we have a pretty good idea as to where the Raiders will be focusing on in the draft: Offensive and defensive line (nose tackle), cornerback, tight end and even the quarterback position.

With Oakland void of a first round draft pick, they won't have a wide selection of elite players like they've had in the past. Add that to a weak draft class, and it will be extremely interesting to see who the Raiders will pull the trigger on.

The Raiders are always looking for the same thing when evaluating prospects: Height, weight, raw talent, speed and strength.

The 2011 NFL Draft should be no different.

Here are 10 prospect the Raiders definitely should not pass on at #48.

*A majority of these players will be available when the Raiders pick in Round 2. If not, I'll specify whether a trade-up is needed.
