The iTouch May Have a One-Year Warranty, But Sasha Has a Contract Year

With the additions of Theo Ratlif, Steve Blake, and Matt Barnes, I'd have to guess the Lakers are about done in this year's off-season.

Where does this leave a player like Sasha Vujacic; once the reliable shooter for the Lakers, who has been part of this franchise for his whole career?

Well we all know that "The Machine" has been temporarily out of order. After the Lakers-Celtics series two years back, Sasha hasn't been the same.

The good news is, Sasha has shown signs of a comeback story.

Towards the end of this year's series, once again against the Celtics, Sasha actually made a couple of three pointers. The problem was, it came along with some unwatchable air balls.

At least "The Machine" isn't completely broken yet, it's just acting up like every Apple Product ever designed.

But just like every Apple Product, there's the annual warranty. For Sasha, there's something called a contract year.

If there's another positive for Sasha, it is that: Sasha has always played well during his contract year.

With Sasha's contract year coming up, we could see a huge turn around for "The Machine."

If it all goes Sasha's way, Lakers could experience a very easy season next year. Because of the new additions to this Lakers' team, this team could have a vey solid bench.

With Theo down low, Steve running point, Barnes freelancing on the forward position, and Ebanks or Caracter playing their position, this bench could possibly be the most talented in the league next season. Don't forget, one of the starters are usually in with the second group, so you will see Lamar, Kobe, Bynum, or Pau in with this mix of guys.

If Sasha can continue to shoot at least average, he could see many more years with the Lakers. It's all up to you Sasha, if you can work hard this off season, and get your head together, your future will be very easy.

Good luck t...
