Steve Nash Hits Epic 10,000 Career Assists Mark Against Houston Rockets

Steve Nash recorded his 10,000th career assist in the Los Angeles Lakers' game against the Houston Rockets.

Coming into the season, Nash had totaled just over 9,900 assists, and breaking his way into the exclusive 10,000 dime club was inevitable as long as he was able to stay healthy.

Well, he did break his leg earlier on in the season, but he has healed up nicely and his contribution to the Lakers is just about what they expected.

Nash came into the game with just five assists to go, so it was more or less expected that he would drop that fateful dime in this game.

With seconds left in the second quarter, Nash dropped a pass in to Antawn Jamison, who was able to easily drop it in for a wide-open layup off the faked pick-and-roll.

As expected, Twitter was beside itself with people patting Nash on the back and giving him all the kudos he deserves.
