Nick Young, Iggy Azalea and Snoop Dogg Are Engaged in an Enormously Dumb Beef

UPDATE: October 15 at 4:40 p.m. ET

The beef is officially squashed.

Snoop Dogg posted an Instagram video Wednesday afternoon saying he spoke with Iggy Azalea's manager, the rapper T.I., and that he apologizes for the "bad talk" toward the Australian recording artist.



Azalea accepted Snoop's apology on Twitter.



Thank God that's over. Now we can all go back to more pressing matters, like finding out how basic we are online.

In your weekly reminder that the Internet is a great place for doing dumb things you'll regret later, Snoop Dogg, Iggy Azalea and Nick Young are waging a social media war over an Instagram picture. 

This weird saga began in earnest Friday when ETOnline posted a picture of Azalea without makeup. Snoop Dogg responded by posting a picture of a person with cornrows to his Instagram account. 



From there, Snoop and the "Fancy" rapper went down an ugly rabbit hole of social media trash talk and meme-slinging.

Azalea posted a now-deleted picture of the rapper titled, "When your drug addict aunt gets clean."



Snoop shot back with memes comparing Azalea to the Wayans brothers in White Chicks.



The rapper then posted an Instagram video calling Azalea a "c--t" and telling Young to "check [Azalea] before I do." (NSFW language)

More social media ugliness followed, and eventually, Young—Azalea's boyfriend—chimed in on Twitter with some remarks for the "old head."



As of Wednesday morning, Snoop had yet to respond to Young's remarks, but it would be a distinct breach in his operating procedure if the rapper let the remarks go unanswered.

Unless some sort of truce or stand-down is secured by November, it's going to be awkward times at the Staples Center this NBA seas...
