Los Angeles Lakers Favored By 3.5 Points Over San Antonio Spurs

The Los Angeles Lakers are set to host the San Antonio Spurs at Staples Center tonight, Feb. 3.

It is just the second of four games in the season series. The Spurs beat the Lakers 97-82 at San Antonio back on Dec. 28. Tip-off is set for 10:30 ET and will be televised nationally on TNT.

Taking a look at the NBA spreads for tonight's game, oddsmakers have the Lakers favored by 3.5-points over the Spurs with the total set at 195.5.

The Spurs ended a short three-game winning streak by their standards this season with a 99-86 loss at Portland on Tuesday. It was just the second loss in the last 13 games for the Spurs, who will look to avoid losing two straight for just the second time all season.

The Lakers were able to hold on for 114-106 overtime win over the Rockets at home on Tuesday, ending a short two-game losing streak. Los Angeles has really struggled against the top teams this season, and could really use a win before leaving town for a seven-game road trip.

San Antonio actually jumped out to a five-point halftime lead over the Trail Blazers, but really struggled offensively in the second half, scoring just 34 points in the final two periods combined.

The Spurs ended up shooting just 42.7% on the game, but have done an amazing job this season bouncing back from a loss. San Antonio is 6-1 after losing their previous game.

Tony Parker really struggled in the loss to the Trail Blazers, finishing with just six points on 3-11 shooting. Parker was a big reason why the Spurs beat the Lakers earlier this season, as he had a game-high 23 points.

The other four starters all scored in double-figures against Portland. Manu Ginobili had 17, but also struggled with his shot, going just 6-18, Tim Duncan added 15, and DeJuan Blair chipped in 14 points and 12 rebounds.

San Antonio's allowed Portland to shoot 50.7% from the field, and will struggle to win...
