Lakers Rumors: Kobe to Channel His Inner Dark Knight and Wear Black Mask

Kobe Bryant is finally channeling his inner super hero by wearing a black mask tonight against the Detroit Pistons.

According to a tweet from Ramona Shelburne, Kobe has had three new masks made for him and one of them is an all black mask. Kobe is already the scariest player on the court and this will not give his opponents an easier time when it comes to defending him.

Ever since Dwyane Wade fractured Kobe's nose in the All Star game the Black Mamba has found a way to play even better. Since the All-Star break the Lakers have won every game and Kobe has scored at least 30 points in each contest.

The mask was already helping Kobe play well. The reason is because Kobe is angry that he has to wear the mask because of some unnecessary hard foul from Dwyane Wade. The lesson here is to not give Kobe a reason to be angry because he knows how to channel that anger into success.

Although Kobe will be wearing a mask that makes him look like Batman, don't think for once second that he can't channel his inner Bruce Banner and play the role of the Incredible Hulk on the basketball court.

Will the black mask affect the way Kobe plays tonight? Probably not. It seems like nothing can really stop the Black Mamba at this point. Kobe already knows how to strike fear in the hearts of his opponents and nothing will say "fear me" more than an all black mask would.
