It's the point of the offseason where fans start to turn away. It makes sense, too. General manager Mitch Kupchak and the front office grabbed D'Angelo Russell in the draft to pair with Julius Randle. It then added stellar sixth man Lou Williams and even stole rookie Robert Upshaw off the market.
Yet the Lakers need to stay active, especially with Seraphin still being available.
According to Yahoo Sports' Marc Spears, the Lakers are one of many teams to have an interest:

Seraphin is just 25 years old and last year averaged 6.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 0.7 blocks per game on an average of 15.6 minutes with the Washington Wizards.
Washington never gave Seraphin much of a chance, but what he showed in flashes seems to have the attention of the Lakers.
And others, of course. The Dallas Mavericks need a big man after the DeAndre Jordan debacle. Washington needs the depth down low, and it would not hurt to bring back someone familiar with the organization.
Per the Washington Post's Jorge Castillo, a re-up with Washington continues to look like a solid option:
There’s a slim chance Seraphin, 25, could return to Washington. The team lacks young big men and could use another one after acquiring wing depth in Jared Dudley, Gary Neal and Alan Anderson. But the Wizards have conducted business this summer under the assumption that Seraphin would move on.
Still, the Lakers have the right idea with the interest.
