The Twitter takeover was a fun, casual look into Kobe's life. The Christmas card was...well, it was pretty weird.
It was one of a few pictures of Kobe, his wife Vanessa and his two daughters, Natalia and Gianna, in what I imagine is similar to what they wear on any given day of the year. They just happened to come together, hold hands awkwardly, and take a picture.
The look on Kobe's face makes it seem as if he's completely given in to Vanessa's demands. Just sit down in the chair and smile? No problem.
Of course, the fact that he's nonchalantly wearing a tuxedo is a nice touch. Of course, after the infamous all-white photo shoot, I would totally believe that he just lounges around the house in that bad boy.
I'm not sure what the protocol is for a Christmas card, but something tells me that the amount of cleavage and leg that Vanessa is showing isn't something you're going to see coming from your Aunt Fiona next Christmas, and for that we should all be thankful.
However, my favorite part of the picture is, without a doubt, that everybody seems to be ignoring the youngest daughter.
Kobe is sitting in the middle holding hands with Vanessa and Natalia, but poor Gianna is standing off to the side with just her hand on her mom's hip.
In short, this is pretty much everything we would have expected from a Kobe Bryant Christmas card.
