Kobe Bryant Video: Watch Lakers Guard Drop Drew League Game-Winning Shot

Kobe Bryant slowly brings the ball up the court with a high school gym full of people chanting his name. The Drew League game is tied at 137 and the opposing team decides to play man-to-man defense instead of doubling Bryant.

He goes right, cuts back to the middle, pulls up and...BANG!

The crowd storms the court to surround Bryant, who is standing with his hands it the air. It was vintage Bryant, aside from the fact he was wearing No. 20.

This isn't LeBron James dunking on a little kid during a game of knockout—this is one of the best clutch players in history doing work.

It's becoming more and more likely that NBA fans will have to get their basketball fix via a different route this winter. The league is in a lockout and there are no signs of positive movement in the minimal amount of talking that has gone on so far.

Bryant will find a place to play if the lockout drags on into the season. The most likely destination is China, where they could just pay him with American loan payments. Although his knees are starting to wear, Kobe is still one of the best players on the planet and an attraction for any league he joins.

With Kevin Durant making the rounds in New York City hot spots like Rucker Park, James playing games with kids and college players and Bryant knocking down game-winners, it's almost like the players are sending a message to the owners that they can lock the doors, but they can't stop them from playing the game they love.

The lack of hope from all sides at the negotiation table is bad news for the prospects of a season in 2011. Even the NFL—as vicious as those talks got—was making progress toward a deal by this point, while the NBA talks are seemingly stuck in neutral.

Nobody is sure when the NBA will get back to business, but Kobe wants you to know he's ready to drop a game-winner in your face whenever it does.
