Kobe Bryant Soaks Down a Father’s Day Beer at Yankees vs. Angels Game

Kobe Bryant is making the most of his offseason, spending his days like any man with free summers should, drinking beer and watching baseball.

It's a warm Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles, the New York Yankees are in town to take on the hometown Angels and it's Father's Day. What else is there to do?

Kobe was spotted having a nice afternoon by the YES Network cameras chilling in the stands and sucking down a Corona.

— Seth Rosenthal (@seth_rosenthal) June 16, 2013 When you've got a ruptured Achilles' tendon and a little while before some real, vigorous rehabilitation, there's really nothing better than hitting up a baseball game.

Of course, there are plenty of better options than buying a Corona at a baseball game, but I'm not generally one to criticize another man's choice of beer.

The only thing that I'm concerned about is how much he's spending. With the price of beer at sporting events, Kobe might have to throw himself out onto the floor for a few more years than expected just to pay for this trip to the game.

It really seems as if Bryant is starting to turn into a middle-aged guy who lives for weekend afternoons. Pretty soon you're going to see him playing golf on Saturdays after throwing down on a game of poker Friday night with his buddies.

Jimmy Buffett will find his way onto the man's iPod, and he's going to start looking for Travelocity cruise deals in early September in order to get the best offseason price.

Embrace the aging man inside, Kobe—it's much simpler than living like a young playboy basketball player.
