At the end of last season, Bryant’s right knee bothered him and he had to have fluid drained from it before the playoffs. He then waited until this summer to have full blown surgery on his knee, and according to the Lakers, he should be able to report to the first day of training camp on Sept. 25.
Now that Bryant has had his knee operated on to fix the problems he faced last season, he will have a less painful time on the court which could allow him to focus more on his actions on the court rather than the pain in his knee.
Without his knee bothering him, Bryant should have an easier time playing to his full capability next season, which is good news for the rest of the Lakers as they attempt to go for another championship win next season.
Now this surgery will in no way give Bryant a huge boost in his performance. All this surgery will do is make Bryant’s time on the court less painful, which could allow him to focus more on the game than on the pain in his knee.
Being able to focus more on his game than the pain, will give Bryant a small boost to his already excellent performance on the court.
Now that Bryant has had this injury fixed, he will come back at full capacity next season to the delight of Lakers fans everywhere.
