After Los Angeles Lakers forward Matt Barnes broke up with Gloria Govan of Basketball Wives: LA last week, there's now been speculation by multiple publications that Longoria could be dating him.
After BallerAlert.com speculated that the two were in cahoots last week, the New York Post's Page Six speculated the same on Sunday, noting they seemed "very flirty" as they dined with two friends at II Mulino on Thursday night.
Because we all know Page Six has many spies, the Post went on:
A spy in the restaurant told us: “There was definitely a spark between Eva and Matt. They weren’t seated next to each other, but you could tell there was something between them. There was a little hand-holding over the table and a lot of eye contact.”
Hand-holding, eh? Longoria is either a very touchy-feely kind of person or her denial shouldn't be trusted.
Wrote Longoria on WhoSay.com, complete with a picture of her sticking her tongue out at us:
"First Jessica Simpson, now this. Once again, press gets it wrong, Matt barnes and I are not dating!
"We are doing a charity event together for Padres and Athletes vs Cancer."
The problem is, the press has actually gotten a good majority of these rumors right. They usually aren't rumors if there isn't some kind of evidence.
