Ding: Is Byron Scott Already Showing Signs of Losing a Frustrated Kobe Bryant?

Kobe Bryant hasn't had the supporting cast behind him this season that he has had in years past. Bryant scored 39 points in 44 minutes in the Los Angeles Lakers' 112-106 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday, playing nearly the entire game.

Bryant is at an advanced age in the league, which should indicate limiting his minutes, using younger legs and relying on him in crunch time. Unfortunately for head coach Byron Scott, the Lakers can't seem to get to crunch time without Kobe.

Is Scott sending the wrong message by playing Bryant extended minutes throughout games?
