Andrew Goudelock Selected With 46th Pick — Full Scouting Profile

2011 NBA Draft Results: Andrew Goudelock Goes No. 46 to Los Angeles Lakers

Now the College of Charleston’s all-time leading scorer after averaging 23.7 points per game during his senior season, Andrew Goudelock is a very underrated scoring combo guard.

Very quick, especially off the pass when he literally doesn’t hesitate before hoisting up a shot or putting the ball on the floor, Goudelock makes up for his lack of height with that quickness. After all, 6’2” is a little bit short for a traditional shooting guard.

His best skill though has to be his jump shot. If you leave Goudelock open from anywhere on the court, his shot will undoubtedly go in. He was one of the best three-point shooters that the college game had to offer during the 2010-2011 season.

The Cougars are sad to see him leave them behind, but happy at the same time that he’ll be a successful sharpshooter off an NBA bench.

Goudelock is going to fit in well with the Lakers as a backup guard who can come in and provide an immediate scoring impact.
