Andrew Bynum Video: Watch LA Lakers Big Man Steal Ball for Breakaway Dunk

As easily as Kobe Bryant can light up the Mavericks for at least 30 points each and every night, that is simply not the recipe to beating this Dallas basketball team.

Time and time again, the Lakers coaching staff has emphasized the importance of getting the Los Angeles big men involved in the basketball game, namely Andrew Bynum, Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom.

Luckily, Bynum proved to Lakers hopefuls that he heard the message on Friday night and showed maximum effort in the first half of the game.

Bynum's line at halftime: 14 points, four rebounds and one important steal.

If there's anything that can motivate a team, it's this play.

Nothing fires up a basketball squad more than watching the biggest guy one their roster steal the ball from Dirk Nowitzki then take it all the way home, about 70 feet, for a breakaway slam dunk.

Hopefully for the Lakers' season, this is a sign that they're now focused and ready to play after dropping the first two games of the series.

Otherwise, this highlight is the only thing that Lakers fans will be celebrating until next fall.
