Funniest Tweets from the Los Angeles Lakers’ Loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers



Well, the epic tanking battle Tuesday night between the Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers was one for the history books. OK, not really, to be honest. It wasn’t the prettiest display of basketball; however, I'm not sure if it was as bad as @philly1622 thought it was.



But hey, what are you going to do? I mean, the Lakers have a whole hospital full of injured players.



It’s getting so bad, common fans are now considering going out for the team. @fepperson22 and I were thinking the same thing while watching the game.



The final score of the game showed the Cavs winning 120-118, but who was the real winner tonight? The Lakers may not have won the actual game, but one thing Laker fans can be happy about is they did end up victorious in the tanking battle.

However, at halftime, this wasn’t the case. The Lakers were up 63-57, lighting it up on the offensive end and putting together a decent overall game, leaving some Lakers fans very upset.



Well thankfully for @AngryLakersFan, the lake show managed to turn it around and tank the rest of the game away.

Even in defeat, Nick Young managed to have a very nice game, going for 28 points, and Kendall Marshall contributed with a big-time 16 assists.

This latest loss makes it five straight for the Lakers and sadly becomes the 11th loss in their last 12 games.

They'll be expected to drop a bit in the latest NBA power rankings, but it's hard to tell just how much farther they can sink. Currently in @NotSportsCenter’s rankings, the Lakers sit right below college basketball’s Arizona Wildcats and the Space Jam Monstars.



On the other side, for the Cavs, they got a big game from the newly acquired Luol Deng, who was a perfect 5-of-5 from three, finishing with 27 total points.
