Despite being blessed with elite size and speed, Pryor has looked skittish in the pocket and been erratic with his passes in his first two preseason games.
He will need to climb over starter Carson Palmer and veteran safety net Matt Leinart in order to see any sort of meaningful playing time at QB.
Complicating things further for Pryor is that he is the final product of the Al Davis era in Oakland, so he will need to endear himself to the new brain trust of Reggie McKenzie and Dennis Allen.
In the plus column for Pryor are his superior athletic skills, which could open the door for him to get on the field in the Wildcat offense—however, that would require some creative thinking from traditional offensive coordinator Gregg Knapp.
