Oakland Raiders: Should They Cut Trevor Scott?

Cutting Trevor Scott would allow Players like Thomas Howard and Matt Shaunessy more playing time. Raider Nation is torn on whether or not Thomas Howard can return to his 2007 form when he had 6 int. and 2 Tds with 11 passes defensed. Matt Shaunessy is a Raider favorite with his size and power to make plays on the end.

Trevor Scott threatens the playing time of both of these players without reason. Scott is a sackmaster for sure. The only problem is that the Raider's can't stop the run and he is all but useless. Most of the Raiders problems originate from poor scheming and coaching. They are banking on players who havent produced at the expense of the young players.

Bruce Campbell should start at left guard and Veldheer should go back to left tackle. However I suspect that Bruce is more athletic and would be better suited for the speed rushers, whom have ravaged Raider Qbs for most of the past seven years. Who knows? One thing is for sure, Cable certainly doesn't.
