Oakland Raiders: Let Us Put Our Finger In Your Face and Get It Straight!

I just read an article about Michael Bush getting in trouble for allegedly driving intoxicated.  That just doesn't make any sense.

Now you know that Bush has money, and he could have hired somebody to drive him rather than make the news with this nonsense.

Now, let us put our finger in his face, like the old folks used to do when young people got into trouble.

Now stand still Bush and listen real good.

If you need counseling for a drinking problem or for some other problem that is insidious and hidden from the public, then go get counseling, right now.  Do you hear us?

Year after year, young National Football league players get in trouble both during the offseason and sometimes during the regular season.  Is anybody learning anything?

Other young men may be able to get away with some things, but not you, Oakland Raiders.

So, listen up and listen good.  Watch who you hang out with—watch who you walk with, stand with and sit with.

Why are those three things mentioned?  It's in the good book and goes something like this.

"Blessed is the man who walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful....."

There are three stages to this counsel—walk, stand, sit.

Walk entails movement with others.  Stand means staying in a certain position with others. But to sit is to get too comfortable in the matter.

For example, if Bush got too comfortable with his social stuff, he sat down in his car and took a chance while driving in a non-sober state.

Again, we are putting our finger in your face.  We dare you to do it again.  We challenge you to get help now before a destructive pattern takes over your life and career.

Please listen!

Go Raiders and former Raiders!
