This isn't that bad considering at one point they had to clear well over $10 million from their salary cap and still managed to get some solid free agents. However, it will test the mettle of McKenzie and Allen in the draft, as it means they must rely on it to help fill out the ranks on the roster.
In an article from CSNBayArea.com, it was reported the Raiders have less than $4 million in cap space remaining to work with, including signing draft picks, un-drafted free agents and even players on the waiver wire next season. This could change, but only if the Raiders re-worked more contracts.
I personally think they've done as much shuffling as physically possible to make some cap room appear. It will be interesting to see down the road how this plagues the Raiders and how McKenzie and Allen will have to alter their plan for Oakland in the offseason.
