Oakland Raiders: An Offseason Plan for Al Davis and the Silver and Black

As the NFL Lockout drags on, many fans are wondering which direction their teams will be going this offseason.

The Raider Nation is no different. The 2011 NFL Draft is less than a week away and people are going crazy as to who will be a Raider in 2011.

Others are focusing on what will happen once free agency starts.

Oakland went into a signing frenzy before the lockout, but were unable to reach deals with players like Nnamdi Asomugha and Michael Huff.

Fans are fretting the day when Nnamdi Asomugha leaves and probably find themselves scouring the draft boards for the next Aso.

It's not a given that Nnamdi leaves, however. He even stated that he's open to returning to the Silver and Black in 2011.

The Raiders could go many directions this offseason. Obviously the main goal is to overhaul the offensive line and add depth along the roster, maybe even adding a young quarterback via the draft.

Here is the route I think Oakland should be going; the route that could catapult them into the playoffs.
