NFL Week 12 Picks: Favorites Guaranteed To Cover the Spread

The Oakland Raiders are one of several favorites who are a lock to cover the spread in Week 12 of the NFL season.

Carolina Panthers vs. Indianapolis Colts (Panthers -3.5)

The Carolina Panthers face the winless Indianapolis Colts on Sunday in a game the Panthers will easily win.



The Colts defense allows 145.6 rushing yards per game which is the second most in the NFL. Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart and quarterback Cam Newton will have little trouble finding open running lanes against Indy.

The Colts are averaging about seven points scored per game the last four weeks, and they will lose big to the Panthers in Week 12.

 

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Kansas City Chiefs (Steelers -11)

Large spreads are usually hard to take but in this matchup the Kansas City Chiefs are simply overmatched by the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will have all day to throw the football against a Chiefs defense that ranks dead last in sacks with just 12 on the season.

The Chiefs are really struggling on offense, and with quarterback Tyler Palko replacing the injured Matt Cassel last week the KC offense could only score three points against the New England Patriots.

The Steelers have a far better defense than the Patriots, and will blow out the Chiefs this week.

 

Oakland Raiders vs. Chicago Bears (Raiders -4)
