Is Nnamdi Asomugha Training with the Silver and Black? Asomwhere Are You?

Recently word has spread about the four day (Tuesday-Friday) Oakland Raiders camp sponsored by defensive tackle Richard Seymour, who sent out an invitations to all the Oakland Raider players in an email. NFL Nation blog reported the opening statement as saying, "Men, I hope everyone is well and is staying in shape because we are going to out-work everyone we face this season, and it starts right now in the offseason.”

You gotta love it!

Both QB Jason Campbell and Richard Seymour have invited players to workouts. However, the question that comes to fans of the Oakland Raiders is where is Asomugha? Also, is he practicing with the Silver and Black, since there could be a possibility that Al Davis may match offers to retain his services as shut down corner in 2011.

Players will be working on plays without the Oakland Raider coaching staff as well as weightlifting, swimming and “nutritional counseling.” Nnamdi Asomugha would be a great benefit for the youthful wide receivers. Although WR's Jacoby Ford and Louis have made spectacular plays, they could always use advice from the best CB in the NFL.

Its would also be great if Asomugha would make the training camp, because it would keep him in shape for next season, since its pretty obvious that workouts will be short with the season nearing.

It was such great news to hear that former safety Rod Woodson is coaching the Oakland Raider secondary. Yet, with the NFL lockout extended until June 3rd, Rod Woodson doesn't have the time to inspire and train the young and speedy Oakland Raider corner backs.

The NFL Lockout is great because it keep Asomugha an Oakland Raider, for now, but it hurts the team, because the workouts are necessary to perfect timing.
