This is a positive sign for fantasy owners of Palmer or owners in need of a bye week replacement. Regardless of your situation, Palmer makes a great start this Sunday at home against Tampa Bay.
Palmer continues to develop chemistry with the young Raiders receivers, especially second-year sensation Denarius Moore. Moore has reached pay dirt in three consecutive games and has a perfect chance to make it four in a row this Sunday. Also on the outside is the speedy Darrius Heyward-Bey, who also reached the end zone on a 32-yard reception in Week 8 against the Chiefs. However, it was Heyward-Bey's lone reception in the game.
Along with the talented receivers comes the emergence of fourth year tight end Brandon Myers, who has quietly led the Raiders in receptions midway through the 2012 season with 31. Palmer has had plenty of weapons to utilize this year, and those weapons have a great opportunity to continue to showcase their abilities this Sunday.
The Raiders have had a solid pass offense, ranking 10th in the NFL with 264 yards per contest. Palmer is well on pace for his third 4,000-yard season, and that yard-per-game total should increase after a successful day this Sunday.
