Denarius Moore vs. Darrius Heyward-Bey: Who Is the Better Option for Week 11?

The Oakland Raiders are 3-6, and their postseason hopes have diminished greatly, but there still some things to look forward to.

What positives can we possibly find with this disappointing Raiders team? Well, there's the fact that their offense has more than a favorable matchup this Sunday at home against the New Orleans Saints. I am not saying that the Raiders will win this game, but I believe they have a good enough offense to make fantasy owners happy this week.

The Saints defense has been awful this season, allowing monster games to opposing quarterbacks and wide receivers. Quarterback Carson Palmer has been on fire in recent weeks, and that success should continue and allow the young receivers to be successful as well.

Now, this leads me to my next question. Which Raiders receiver is the better option: Denarius Moore or Darrius Heyward-Bey? According to CBS Sports, The Saints have given up the most fantasy points to wide receivers this season, so both Moore and Heyward-Bey should have nice outings against the struggling defense.

Just how bad has the Saints defense been this season? Let's go back to Week 7, when Buccaneers receiver Vincent Jackson put up video-game numbers, with seven receptions for 216 yards and a touchdown.

Demaryius Thomas and DeSean Jackson also exceeded the century mark and reached pay dirt against the Saints defense.

Denarius Moore has 34 catches on the year for 575 yards and has reached the end zone in four of the last five games. Heyward-Bey has played pretty well since returning from a concussion, scoring in two of his last three contests.

Unlike Moore, Heyward-Bey is still available in most fantasy leagues, so if he is still on the waiver wire, be sure to add him if you are in need of a starting wide receiver.
