Aaron Curry: Seattle Seahawks Trade LB to Oakland Raiders

FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports that the Oakland Raiders have traded two undisclosed draft picks, one in 2012 and one in 2013, to the Seattle Seahawks for benched linebacker Aaron Curry.

Curry was the fourth overall pick in the 2009 NFL draft. He was considered the most NFL-ready player at the time. Since Pete Carroll took over as the Seahawks head coach, the two have often not seen eye to eye. Then, two weeks ago, Curry was benched.

This is another move in a line of many in the overhauling of the Seahawks that has had them let go of Matt Hasselbeck, Lofa Tatupu and now Aaron Curry, players who were considered stars on this team.

On the other hand, the Raiders add a very good linebacker to an already-solid defense.
