Marshall finished with career-bests of 20 points and 15 assists and six rebounds while committing just one turnover.
According to Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News, Marshall is the first Lakers player to post totals of 20 points and 15 dimes in a single game since Kobe Bryant did so back in 2002 against the Washington Wizards.
However, we shouldn't overlook Pau Gasol's stellar performance, which can easily be classified as his best of the season.
In 37 minutes, Gasol scored 23 points, pulled down 17 boards and dished out eight assists while shooting 10-of-17 from the field.
And while the Lakers did drop 30 points or more in both the first and third quarters, the Jazz cut the deficit to four points late in the fourth quarter before Marshall and Nick Young went on a 6-0 run to solidify the win.
Six Lakers finished in double figures, including Young, who scored 16 points. Jodie Meeks added 18 on 6-of-14 shooting while Wes Johnson and Shawne Williams poured in 11 and 10 points, respectively.
The Jazz boasted six double-figure scorers as well, led by Gordon Hayward, who scored 22 points and hit half (four) of the team's three-pointers.
The Lakers shot 52 percent from the field and 42 percent from three in the win.
