Ron Artest Video: Lakers Star Refutes Claims That Pau Gasol Is Soft

Ron Artest is in more NBA videos than almost any other player.

He beats out his teammate Kobe Bryant, as well a LeBron James, Chris Paul, Kevin Durant and even Blake Griffin.

Of course, almost none of Artest's videos have anything to do with what happens on the basketball court; Artest makes headlines for many other reasons.

This time, at least, he is defending a teammate.

Well, sort of defending, I guess.

Recently, Amar'e Stoudemire and Kendrick Perkins came out and called Pau Gasol soft. It has been no secret that Perkins has never been too fond of Gasol—as a player or a person—and Stoudemire decided to jump on the bandwagon.

While I may be inclined to agree at times that Gasol plays soft, it is a common knock that NBA players have been saying of European players for years now.

But Artest did his best to stick up for his Los Angeles Lakers teammate and say that the rest of the team works on lifting and building muscle while Gasol works on his skills.

He manages to do with crazy eyes, as well, making it even more impressive.

While Artest is talking, he insists that the cameras focus on his chest to show just how tough he is without his shirt. He then basically goes on to ignore what the reporters ask throughout the rest of the video, as he could only perseverate on his chest.

Way to go, Ron. You did it again.
