Nick Young Tweets, Posts Video from Police Traffic Stop

After getting pulled over Monday night for having no license plates on his rental car, Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young posted a video of the traffic stop on Twitter.

As seen in the video, Young laughed at the amount of police present during the incident:

The 30-year-old veteran offered no explanation for why his rental car was without plates.

Following the stop, Young posted two additional tweets questioning if he should be to blame for the fact that the car was lacking plates: "So do I give the rental car place this [ticket?] How [does] that work[?] ... Knowing it's a rental car should they [have] still wrote me this [ticket?]"

It is unclear how Young's off-court problem will ultimately play out, but the 2015-16 season has also proven to be one of his worst on the court.

The USC product is averaging just 7.4 points per game for the struggling Lakers, which is a career low. He is also appearing in only 18.9 minutes per contest off the bench in 49 games, and he is shooting 33.3 percent from long range, which is well below his career mark of 37.1 percent.

Young is in the midst of his third season with the Lakers after previous stints with the Washington Wizards, Los Angeles Clippers and Philadelphia 76ers.

Per Spotrac.com, he is under contract for the 2016-17 season and also has a player option for 2017-18.

Young's future with the Lakers will likely be a hot-button issue within the franchise this coming offseason, and it's entirely possible that Swaggy P's personal vehicles will be swapping California plates for a different state soon.
